Hoven Farms… Now with Bison!

Hoven Farms is now selling fresh cut bison at the Kingsland Farmers Market. We are just starting with a few cuts (ground bison, rib eye steaks, sirloins teaks, round roasts) but as we move closer to summer, we will be adding more and more items. Are there any cuts that you want?

What I Am Fighting Next Week

Next week, if the weather holds, I’ll be driving the swather cutting our barley. It is an open cab machine so you get to smell the dry barley as it is cut just a few feet away from you. I love that smell. Hopefully we will be all finished combining by next Saturday.
