Day 99

A good day today.

Lots of visits to the ilovealbertafarmers.com website since Sunday. The exciting part is how the idea is spreading. The vast majority of visits are from Calgary, then other parts of Alberta. We even had a few visitors from Europe.

Quite a few vendor registrations through the website.  The neat thing is most of the registrations are people who I did not know even existed.  By that I mean, they  are looking at the Kingsland Farmers Market as a way of expanding their business’ and farms.  And so far, they all would fit within the make it, bake it, or grow it mantra.

This is also without spending $1 on promotion.  This is spread through the radio, the web, twitter, facebook and word of mouth.  People like the idea of what we are trying to do.

Gert and I gave a tour of the building to a reporter today.  I think he liked what he saw.

12:19 AM and still 28 emails in the inbox to reply to and two documents to review.

Good night!

I cant believe I forgot.  Upgrade my Blackberry Curve to an iPhone as my 2yr old blackberry curve spent half of it’s time with the hourglass spinning.

I love the video camera feature.  I love the great photos.

I need to set it up so I can post to this blog from anywhere anytime.

Like I said, good day today.  Let’s see what tomorrow brings.

The song of the day is “Living on the Edge” by White Lion.  Yes, I am still living in the 80′s. Vito Bratta plays a tasty little guitar.

“I’m going to do it my way and I won’t change for no one.

I’m living on the edge and I got nothing to lose.”
