I have Been Busy
First of all, being busy is no excuse. In fact, I love being busy. Busy is a good thing.
But the reason there have been no updates in the last few weeks is just a matter of priorities.
Between running the farm, the market, meetings, the LocalLunch.tv, a few more meetings, my wife in Scotland, having the Farmers Market yank my membership, I haven’t had a lot of time to blog.
I am working on a post about the Local 2020 event with some pictures.
We are also working on some big plans for the Local 101 event as a speaker and doing some next stuff with the LocalLunch.
Busy is good, and busy with I love my job is even better.

The market yanked your membership?
The Calgary Farmers Market NGC Ltd has asked me, Gert Lund, Homestyle Beverages / Pearson’s Berry Farm, Prairie Farms, and Cliff with his garden concrete decorations to voluntarily resign our membership and if we didn’t, they would take them from us.
I am still trying to figure out what I am going to do about it.
I just received an email from the CFM that they have decided not to take away our memberships. They didn’t state a reason…. just that they were not going to go through with it.
